Look for "sterile saline". It is usually used for rinsing soft contact lenses. An example can be seen at the link below. https://www.target.com/p/bausch-lomb-sensitive-eyes-plus-saline-solution-2pk-24-fl-oz/-/A-11285739

Hi and thanks for posting. While sterile saline drops can be safely used in dogs, other medicated eye drops found over the counter are not and should be avoided. Also there are certain eye medications such as steroidal drops or antibiotic drops that may be recommended from your veterinarian to use for Sadie that are not available over the counter and may only be prescribed through your veterinarian. Sterile saline, while safe, may not be what your veterinarian has recommended for Sadie's allergies. I hope this helps and thanks again for using Boop by Petco!

Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Regular saline eye drops may help but if she is still scratching at her eyes then there may be something else going on such as an eye infection that may need other medications like antibiotics to help treat. I would take her in to see her vet if she is still bothering her eye(s).

Both are antibiotic ointments, so I would recommend sticking with the Isathal for now and scheduling another appointment if she's not feeling better after 24 hours. You can increase the frequency of the Isathal because extra lubrication can help with comfort. Another thing to ask your veterinarian about it placing a contact on her eye - not all vets have these in their offices, but if they do it can help a lot with comfort. Good luck to you and Jasmine. I hope she's feeling much better soon!

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Hazel. Unfortunately it's illegal for us to prescribe medication without seeing her in person. You cannot get a prescription online. If she does have an ear infection, she will have to see a vet to get it treated. It's very important to take her into a vet as leaving this untreated can lead to hearing loss. Best of luck.
