Hello, any of these diets could be recommended by your veterinarian. If you feed the recommended doses as detailed on the bags then this should be sufficient for a puppy, however, in an older dog this may be too rich for her. If your veterinarian is recommending that she continues to eat a puppy food, then my choice would be a Royal Canin diet. Otherwise, you can feed a supplemented or bigger portion adult diet. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Yes, royal canin is formulated as a complete food providing for all nutritional needs (junior/puppy up until 12-15months and then adult). It is a more balanced diet when fed alone than it is when mixed with other foods which can actually lead to nutritional excesses and deficiencies

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I am not sure I am reading this right but I will try to clarify what I think you mean. Prince should be fed a large breed puppy food. In the States, giant breed is for mastiffs and Great Danes so large breed is perfect for a Rottweiler. Royal Canin makes excellent puppy and dog food. At 5 weeks he can definitely have puppy food as long as he has teeth. You may need to water down the dry food to make it softer for him to chew. These foods are designed for young puppies until about 1 year of age. It has the proper blend of vitamins and minerals to help his body and organs grow. I would continue to feed the Royal Canin. In the States we call biscuits “treats”, so as long as you mean biscuits is food and not treats you should be all set. I hope this helps. Good luck and kisses to Prince!

Congratulations on your new addition! She is gorgeous. Royal Canin is one of the "premium" brands of diets. It is an excellent choice to feed. Other premium brands include Acana, Orijen and Canidae.

Please just used a balanced diet made for puppies. All those supplements are not good for a growing puppy. Those should only be fed as an adult and only if needed. If you feed a well-balanced, high quality diet like Royal Canin he should not need any supplements. Using those in a puppy is asking for trouble. I am assuming you mean Royal Canin for rc? You should use the feeding instructions on the bag. I would recommend the medium breed puppy. This website should help answer your questions. Best wishes!
