I took my dog in for a rash he had from allergies, the vet from Boop by Petco prescribed pills and they worked amazing. he stopped itching and the redness went away, I just want to get his prescription refilled. do i have to take him in again or can

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Congratulations on your new dog! I like Revolution if you are looking for a topical product. It consistently works well and is well tolerated. If you like the idea of an oral product better, I like Trifexis (it’s another all in one product). Sometimes though the pets can smell the Trifexis and they won’t eat it. In that instance, I like Simparica and Interceptor. My personal preference is oral products. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Our Aussie mix 1 year old pup Willow licks her paws after she’s been outside. And it’s not just one paw. My sister recommenced Zesty Paws to help. My question is, Willow is on reconcile that she takes once a day, is it safe to give her this too?
Yes, she can take both concurrently. I actually prefer Redonyl over Zesty Paws. She would need one of the 200mg chews once a day so the 120 count package will last you almost 3 months. She would need 2 of the Zesty Paws and that will only last you 45 days. Regardless of which product you choose, she is safe to take either one concurrently with the Reconcile. Good question!
