Thanks for using Boop by Petco! If this is just due to mild gastrointestinal upset from eating the cod then it should resolve soon. You can start Duke on a bland diet mainly composed of boiled chicken and white rice for a few days which may help soothe his gastrointestinal tract. Otherwise, this is very likely going to resolve. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think that would be an excellent choice for that purpose for Poli. That is generally a well tolerated and well-balanced diet that tends to be well-tolerated. Good luck and best wishes!

Allergies can be very frustrating to manage since there are many causes (flea bites, food, contact, inhaled). The easiest cause to resolve is to treat Poli and the environment for fleas. Discuss antihistamine use, hydrolyzed diets, allergy testing and food elimination trials with your vet to rule out other causes. An e-collar (cone) can be used to prevent excessive licking or chewing. A colloidal oatmeal bath may also soothe itchy skin and an essential fatty acid supplement, such as DermCaps or EicosaCaps, may promote healthy skin and coat.

My favorite brands of food are Acana, Origen, Lotus and Hobest Kitchen. You can see if they are available in your area. Some of the freeze dried raw diets such as honest kitchen are very palatable to picky eaters. I also find that adding fish oil and warm water to dry kibble can be very appetizing. It is also a very healthy supplement for them.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend taking Poli to the vet with a fresh stool sample to rule out intestinal parasites and other health concerns. If negative, I would recommend changing her diet to something less rich. In the US, I recommend Science Diet or Purina One Smartblend. There may be something in her current diet that is affecting her GI tract so she may need something new. Good luck and kisses to Poli!
