Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would ask your Veterinarian for an oral sedative for you to give 2 hours before travel. I would use the Feliway spray in his carriage. Once you arrive at your new home, he should be kept in a room by himself away from the other animals for a week then use a baby gate at the door for the him to see and greet the other cat and dog. Do that for a week, then remove the gate. be sure he has access to this room to run away if he needs to. This room can be your bedroom. Use the Feliway diffuser in this room. Try to replicate their home environment: same food, waterm litter boxes, etc. Feline pheromones, like Feliway, may be useful for anxiety. But really, just gett them into the new home and seeing what happens. You can always message us with any issues that arise so we can troubleshoot!

My friend just took in a Hyalazion cat, but it won't eat, drink, or anything. She's an older woman, & wanted 2 go get this cat shots but it won't go n the carrier. She has tried food, water, any other suggestions ? Just trying 2 help her out.
Thank you for trying to help this lady out. Anytime a cat is not eating or drinking this is reason for concern and an immediate visit to the vet is warranted. I recommend using Feliway pheromone spray (you can pick this up at PetCo) and spraying it on a towel that you place in the carrier. Hopefully this will entice the cat into the carrier. Good luck!
