In your option, what is the best joint supplement for dogs?
My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.

I'm looking for a high quality supplement to add to my dogs food, have you ever heard of Dr. Jeff's Optimum canine care? If so do you think it would be a good one to use? If not could you please recommend one?
I am not familiar with Dr. Jeff's products. So sorry. I'm not really sure what you are looking for in a supplement? An immune system booster? Just a vitamin? Probiotics? Skin/Coat health? Joint health? Ensure the puppy has been fully health checked, microchipped and vaccinated and contact the vet involved to confirm they know the puppy - I see you have her down as 6weeks old and spayed/neutered - this is very early and you should question the breeder as to if and why this has been done. You should arrange a puppy safe area of the house (indoor crate or partitioned off area) with no low hanging wires or cords they can chew or become tangled in, have plenty of spare, war, soft bedding and at least 2 food/water bowls, puppy training pads (if using) and an appropriate sized leach and collar to start training around the house. Have some appropriate sized chews and rope toys (avoid human items such as old shoes etc as this can encourage unwanted chewing of important pairs!). Ensure a dog sitter/walker or daycare is available if you will be away for longer than 4-6hours and arrange a vet check within the first 3days to ensure all is well! Good luck

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Marshall is super cute! The most common thing in pet food that can cause allergies is actually not the grains but the protein. Chicken being the biggest allergen. I would get Marshall off chicken and try Salmon, venison, bison or beef. All his treats need to be made of the same protein and he can not have any table foods. His diet would need to be strictly monitored. You should give the diet 2-3 months before trying another or a prescription hydrolyzed diet. I would also consider a Omega 3 fish oil. What are good joint supplements for dogs?
Dasuquin with MSM and Cosequin DS Plus MSM (both by Nutramax Labs) are excellent products. I prefer these because it is the same company that makes the human product, Cosamin, and one of the few companies that submits its products for outside testing to verify ingredients. The GlycoFlex line of products would also be one to consider. These are my own personal recommendations.
