Hello. I am so sorry that your question has gone unanswered for so long. As long as the antibiotic is used at the prescribed dose & for the prescribed time, there is very little chance of retinal damage occurring in Echo. Orbax has been available for many years & was in fact developed to address the retinal issue seen with some other fluoroquinolones. It is a good & safe antibiotic for cats. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Apoquel- for controlling atopic dermatitis (allergies) Antirobe- antibiotic usually for the mouth Rimadyl- anti-inflammatory, has many uses Cephalexin- antibiotic used for many different organs including bladder, skin, abdominal organs, etc I am not sure what is hurting him however if you feel he is in pain then it's best to take him to your vet for proper pain management or discuss humane euthanasia. I am sorry your pet is in such critical condition and hope you can get him some help soon.

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. Augmentin or Clavamox are typically effective for skin infections, but Cephalexin is generally more commonly used. Common ophthalmic antibiotics often include Neomycin or Orbifloxacin. I hope this is helpful!

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Bruno. I'm sorry he has been having problems with his skin again. Unfortunately we cannot give a prescription for these medications, it's illegal for us to do so without seeing him in person. You will need a prescription to get these medications, and in order to get that, you will have to take him into the vet. I'd make an appointment for him to be seen in the next couple of days. Best of luck.
