In general, foods low in sodium and phosphorus are good choices for patients with kidney disease. The best fatty acid supplement you can provide in my opinion to your kitty is this: https://www.chewy.com/nutramax-welactin-feline-omega-3-cat/dp/101463?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=f&utm_content=Nutramax&utm_term=&gclid=Cj0KEQjwv_fKBRCG8a3ao-OQuZ8BEiQAvpHp6BoPUzdXnGydlce04vEekIBtBBc1AgMnoFoND3oiRtgaAupp8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds It is easy to dose and generally considered palatable by most cats. I think it is a perfectly fine idea to use them in your kitty.

You can find omega-3 fatty acids as a liquid sold in a bottle with a pump at some clinics and some pet stores. This may be easier for you to administer to your cat daily rather than having to squeeze the oil out of the capsule itself.

Giving a small amount twice daily is good for the skin and joints. I feed a cat supplement and follow the label instructions. It reduces inflammation and helps with arthritis. As long as you limit the amount I’ve not seen pancreatitis from omega3 supplementation. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Kitty.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would put her on a Glucosamine AND Omega 3 fish oils. I like Dasquinn treats and for fish oils I prefer VRS Omega Benefits but it is a liquid. Otherwise try Nordic naturals. The Omega fish oils helps the joints and skin and the glucosamine is just for the joints. https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=34361 https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=24785 https://www.vrshealth.com/feline-products/omegacat/ I hope this helps!

Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. https://www.vohc.org
