Pimafix is an acceptable "natural" antifungal treatment. Melafix is for bacterial infections. Kanamycin, erythromycin or metronidazole are good broad spectrum antibiotics. Fungus Cure (by API) is an excellent antifungal. You can find these medications in the aquarium section of most pet stores or even online. Follow label directions carefully and remove the carbon filter insert during treatment if indicated. The cornerstone of any treatment is to first maintain pristine water quality and stable chemistry.

I love Nordic Naturals and I always recommend using a veterinary product when available. They do tests to make sure you are giving the right amount for your dogs size. So while you can give fish oil from Costco I would stick to a veterinary formulation. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Chloe.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! As long as it is a good quality diet, these levels are usually kept to a minimum to the point that it is ok to eat it longterm. I recommend brands such as Royal Canin, Purina and Science Diet. Good luck and have a good night!
