What's a better dog food Nulo or Fromm four star? Why?
I have used Fromm for years and always been very pleased with their products. Their Four Star line does have grains in it which doesn't bother me for most dogs, but some people do not like that. I have not used the Nulo line before. In looking at their ingredients, they have very good ingredients. One word of caution though if you have a Cavalier is that they are generally not high energy dogs or athletes, so the Nulo line might have more protein and fat than she needs. If you decide to try Nulo with her, you might select one of the lower fat diets. I always tell clients that there is no perfect food. You have to try it with your pet and see how they do on it. It doesn't matter if it has all the right ingredients, if your dog doesn't do well on it. I think both lines are good foods, so select one and see how Chloe does on it. I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! As you have probably noticed, there is an overwhelming amount of different diets in the market. I really like Purina Pro Plan shredded blends that you can consider. This question is for David. Which is better, Fromm four star or Nulo? Why?
Both foods are equally good, both are excellent quality dry foods and you cam chose either of them, you can't go wrong here. it's quite easy to identify a high quality food, just analyze the ingredients and their concentration, with these two foods you can find very high quality ingredients on the top of the list which is the most important.

I just acquired a small dog that it's around 10 years old. I mix dry and wet food. My question is is Beneful and Beyond good wet food to mix with his high protein dry food?
Some quality food brands that would be good options for Daisy include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, and Purina One. All of these brands have good quality canned and dry options. Thanks for using Boop by Petco!

Is Nulo better than Fromm four star? I notice Fromm four star includes things like pea protein and pea flour as well as white potatoes. While Nulo uses only complex carbs and doesn't have any pea flours or proteins. Please explain, thanks!
Novel proteins and carbohydrates such as those included in the Fromm are usually beneficial to individuals who suffer from food allergies. If Chloe is prone to allergies then it would be better to keep her on the Fromm. If not, then the Nula diet would be acceptable. if you do plan to switch diets, do so very slowly over about a week to avoid stomach upset.
