Hi there, I always recommend trialing the sedation with a quick drive around the neighborhood before the big day to ensure that the kitty is calm enough. CBD is being studied for pets right now, but the hard data for recommending dosages isn't available yet. As well, many CBD advertised products will have enough THC to cause toxicity in pets, so I do caution to monitor closely and not give large amounts of a product you are unfamiliar with. I cannot think of a reason that a missing eye would interfere with mild sedation but I don't have the whole medical record either. Medications like Gabapentin or Trazodone would be more commonly prescribed for mild anxiety reducing and sedative purposes for a long drive. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I'm assuming you're referring to marijuana exposure - and it's great that you're being conscientious about how it might affect Baby! Cats can be affected by secondhand smoke, so it's possible she may be feeling the effects. Fortunately, exposures through brief secondhand smoke are rarely fatal, but Baby may need to go to the vet for supportive care if she's acting disoriented, wobbly, or doesn't want to eat/drink. There is no specific treatment to reverse the effects, but the vet will provide supportive care and be able to watch her heart and respiratory rates and respond if needed, and provide IV fluids to keep her hydrated if she doesn't want to eat/drink, as well as to help flush the drug from her system. Here's some helpful information on marijuana in pets: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/marijuana-intoxication-in-dogs-and-cats Hope this helps!

I'm so sorry but it is against the law for us to write prescriptions over the internet without having personally examined the pet. You can go to one of Petco's VETCO vaccination clinics (bring the cats with you) and they can get you the Revolution after the vet examines the cats. There is no charge for the exam, just for the product. Call first and make sure they will have the Revolution with them. There appears to be multiple clinics happening in your zip code on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. ( https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/?zip=90046 ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

I sympathize with you. I just moved across the country with my 2 cats last year. There are a number of over the counter options, but none of them are as reliable as prescription medications. So, it really depends on how anxious your cats are as to which would be a better option for them. You could try calming treats such as Composure ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-composure-feline-bite-sized-chews ) for an herbal option. We used to recommend tranquilizers for traveling which would sedate an animal, but we now recommend milder anti-anxiety medications that do not cause excessive sedation. I used the prescription medication Gabapentin for my cats for a 3 day drive across the country, and they did great. I would recommend asking your veterinarian for their recommendation and try a few products before you actually move. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Change in environment can be very stressful for animals so I am not surprised that he is having some problems adjusting. You could try a Feliway diffuser and some Solliquin chews and see if that helps. https://www.feliway.com/us#redirected http://www.solliquin.com/#page-top
