Hi, For heat you could do a number of things e.g. place any incandenscent bulb above him, place other types of heaters near the tank etc. Please make sure that the temperature is not too high. As for food, this is more of a problem. If he's used to eating crickets it would be difficult to switch him at once to something else. I assume meal worms or otjer insects are also unavailable? You could very temporarily try some soft cat food but it may not work.

The Cowfish, or Longhorned Boxfish, is a marine species that should be kept only by experienced aquarists. When stressed, they can release toxins into the water which may harm tank mates. Pacman frogs, leopard geckos, corn snakes or bearded dragons are all easy to keep.

The Sharks and Tetras can eat a high quality flake food every day. Brine shrimp (either live or frozen) and blood worms can also be offered. Tetra and Hikari are my own recommendations. The Pleco can eat fresh greens or vegetables. Remove any uneaten food after 24 hours to prevent fouling the water. Sinking wafers or pellets can also be offered.

He can use a plastic tote until you get a tank, but it should be a much larger one than Guido is in right now. Find one that is at least 20 gallons. Provide water deep enough for him to swim in as well as a dry area to rest and bask. Provide a water filter, water heater,heat lamp and UVB light source. You can feed a commercial pelleted or stick diet supplemented with fresh greens and prey such as feeder fish or nightcrawlers. He may not be eating because water or ambient temperatures are too low. Also I don’t know if the boy is bullying her I don’t think he is but they sleep together and seem fine he just pulled off some skin when she was shedding and chased her once but didn’t try to hurt her
I am very sorry but you have not provided enough information for us to help you. What types of animal are you referring to? It just states reptile: are you talking about geckos, snakes, bearded dragons, turtles.........??? Do you have some photos of the skin that was pulled off?
