I have cheeto along with me visiting and i forgot his litter box and we have been here over 24 hours and i have no litter box what can i improvise for a litter box so cheeto can use the potty. He is an indoor only cat Please help
Hi there. Any kind of container (such as a shallow cardboard box, plastic storage container, etc.) with litter in it will do. If you aren't able to purchase cat litter, you could try using potting soil, sand, or fill dirt.

Hey, I just recently got a cat and was wondering if there is any safe air freshener, etc. to put in the same room as the litter box that will not cause any harm to my cat.
The only air "fresheners" we worry about with cats are essential oils. I've included more information about that below. http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/blog/essential-oils-cats/ Any other air fresheners are fine unless your cat has asthma or is sensitive to certain scents. Don't forget that cats' sense of smell is much better than ours, so an air freshener that is too strong can actually deter a cat from wanting to go in the room with it. The most important thing in keeping the room smelling good is scooping the litter box at least once daily and cleaning the entire thing (changing the litter completely) at least once weekly. I also noticed that you have Creamcicle listed at unneutered. Getting him neutered will also decrease the odor of his urine which might be helpful. Good luck! My very large male cat has trouble getting intout his litter pan.. Do you know where I can get a large, very large pan?
Best thing to do is to get a long, shallow plastic storage container (obviously just the box and not the lid) like the ones you get to store things under the bed. Seems to work the best. Cats like it because it is long. ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/Homz-60-Quart-Twin-King-Under-Bed-Clear-Latching-Storage-set-of-2/40977741 ) Other option is to take a regular large storage container and cut a hole in it on the side so he can go in/out. You can make it any size you want. My kittens keep on pooping everywhere in the house.. I dont have money to buy them a litter box how should i train them where to poop exactly??and i dont know ifmy parents would let me chack them into a vet..
If you don't have money to purchase several litter boxes, you can use things like lasagna pans or even like small, shallow cardboard boxes that cans of cat food come in. Either of these are suitable containers for holding cat litter. The best way to train cats to use the litter box is to confine them to smaller areas with litter boxes until they are using them with regularity. Once they are, consider expanding the area of freedom slowly day by day until you are confident in their ability to go to the bathroom in the appropriate location.

Hi, I used Lysol disinfectant spray to clean my cat's litter box then rinsed it off with a mild fish soap. Is this okay do me to do? I also use this spray to clean surfaces throughout house by make sure to keep my cat away when I'm cleaning.
Yes, it is absolutely fine to continue using your normal household cleaners - Lysol included - as long as Frankie does not directly inhale or ingest any of these substances. Rinsing his litter box with dish soap after spraying with Lysol is also okay. :-)
