Absolutely. If everyone is coughing then an aerosolized irritant should be investigated first. Molds, chemicals, dust, etc, can cause upper airway irritation. I would recommend using Hepa filters to remove dust mites and perhaps get an inspection done if you suspect there may be a mold problem somewhere. I hope that you get the bottom of things so that everyone can get some relief! : ) If Bear is still coughing after a few days however, it is best to get him seen an treated by your vet. Best wishes and take care.

Great question. Most dogs respond best to the family member who spends the most time doing things such as feeding, walking, bathing. It sounds like you are that person. I'm sure she loves you but your Mom may have a special bond of some kind that seems to attract you dog's attention. Continue to work on it and over time find the special things such as rubbing her ears, or massaging her back, that makes you the person she wants to be around most. Small treats can be a great motivator. She is still a young dog so plenty of time to develop that special bond between you and your dog. Best of luck. Thanks, Dr Steve Popish.

This situation is generally fine! The main things to make sure you do is keep her up to date one vaccines and her heartworm prevention. Ask you veterinarian about a vaccine called Leptospirosis which is commonly found in rats and can be transmitted to humans. Keep her on a monthly heartworm prevention will also deworm her once monthly (although it may not get all kinds of worms). You won't get worms from sharing the bed with Miku but you could wake up to an unpleasant surprise. Lastly, keep her up to date on her flea prevention so you don't get that in your bed. Otherwise you should be fine. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! That would be a better question for your physician as it is has to do with the health of a human and not the dog in this case. However, dog is not harmful in itself generally unless it contains parasites for example. Have a great day!

Hello, there is no problem using the humidifier/diffuser as long as the room in which you are using this is not closed. There should always be a source of fresh air into the room, so cracking a window is a very good idea, even for you. Otherwise, just make sure there is some air exchange going on in the room. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
