1. Get her some antibiotics: https://www.petsworld.in/corise-clivet-suspension-20-ml.html 2. Apply this salve to her wounds. It also has a fly repellent in it. If you don't do this, she will get maggots in the wounds. https://www.petsworld.in/himalaya-scavon-cream-50-gm.html 3. Feed her some high quality, high calorie food like kitten wet food: https://www.petsworld.in/royal-canin-kitten-instinctive-cat-food-1-2-kg.html 4. Keep her inside for at least one week so she can heal.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Cats are miraculous healers. The leg could just be sore. I would worry about an abscess forming from the bite. Abscesses required opening them up and antibiotics. The only thing you can do is clean the wounds twice daily with warm water and a mild soap and warm compress the wounds after each cleaning for the next 3-5 days. I wish you the best!

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitties! Unfortunately, there is no evidence that homeopathic remedies like these work. My other concern is that this is a pretty high concentration of alcohol. I'm sure the dose is small, but still, I worry that it could be potentially harmful. If you are looking for a natural support for herpes virus, I recommend trying Lysine. This is an amino acid that we think may help interrupt the herpes life cycle. It is very safe for any cat in the household and may be used long term to help prevent flare-ups. A few veterinary approved products I like are Vetoquinol Viralys (L-Lysine) Oral Gel for Cats and Duralactin Feline L-lysine Cat Supplement. Just follow the directions on label. If any cat has squinting eyes, is not eating, or seems very lethargic, it is time to visit your vet as these signs may indicate a secondary eye ulcer or bacterial infection that requires medication. Best of luck to you all!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Kitty! Sadly all you can do at home is rest him (not running, jumping, keep indoors). Cats can not tolerate human pain medications (deadly to cats). Sometimes rest alone can really help a strain or sprain. You can start feline Dasuquin or Cosequin which is a joint supplement for arthritis. It is best to have Kitty evaluated by a Vet as soon as you are able. There are approved pain medications for cats but they are prescription only. Possible causes are: infection or abscess (especially if he goes outside), arthritis, strain or sprain, fracture, immune joint disease, cancer. I wish Kitty a speedy recovery!

Unfortunately most of the times antibiotics are needed to avoid severe infection. If you cannot afford a veterinarian disinfection can eventually be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid scratching. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation (where you can post pictures) if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
