The cost will vary depending on the clinic, geographical location and size of the dog. You can contact the local veterinary clinic for an estimate. Most will readily provide one as a matter of hospital policy. Healing typically takes 2-3 weeks if there are no complications. Any good quality performance diet will put weight on provided the dog has no pre-existing conditions inhibiting weight gain. Brands include Acana, Canidae, Orijen or ProPlan Sport. Most home remedies will not put weight on any faster than a high quality diet. It is important to not put the weight on too fast. This can lead to injuries or health issues.

The Vetco Clinics only provide vaccinations and a few services for well patients, such as routine blood work, fecal exams, and the prescription of flea/tick and heartworm preventives. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Oh no! Poor Killer! you need to get Killer to a Vet today. The wound itself needs surgery to explore it and close it with stitches. But the Vet has to make sure that the leg isn't broken and he isn't in shock. Ultimately if it is just the wound he should be fine. He will need that wound addressed. I wish Killer the best!

Petco should have an inflatable collar that works like an e-collar. It looks a lot like an inflated inner tube and it helps keep her from being able to turn her head far enough to reach her incision site.
