Congratulations on your new addition! Unfortunately, going into an enclosed space is not "normal" for a kitten, so it may take some time for him to start using the litter robot. I have a few suggestions for you. First, the "correct" number of litter boxes is the number of cats plus one, so I would add another regular litter box (if Harry is your only cat). I would not recommend that the box be covered or lined and that it is cleaned daily. You may also want to try products like Cat Attract Litter (https://www.drelseys.com/shop/cat-attract/). I am attaching a handout below that discusses inappropriate urination in cats in case it gives you more ideas. https://www.vin.com/veterinarypartner/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951508 If you think Harry is stressed with his new home, you could also look at adding a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) to your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and gives you some ideas.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think that Hill's Science diet indoor/hairball control would be a good option. Meow mix and Kit and Kabboodle are low quality foods comparatively. Sometimes what SEEMS like hairballs is really a food allergy. If the Hill's food doesn't help, be sure to give it 2-3 months, then I would try a non-chicken diet (all fish, venison, beef, lamb or duck). I hope this helps and I wish you, Bug and Chloe the best!

Sully is adorable! Thanks for including a picture. I wish I could give you a simple answer to your question, but every animal is different and some require a combination of products. I would say that about 50% of the animals I try it with have a good response to Rescue Remedy, so that is often my first choice for cats (especially since it can just be added to the water). I have not used the other products, but both appear to have ingredients that could be used alone or in combination with Rescue Remedy. Don't forget that natural supplements are much more variable than medications and will not sedate, so they are sometimes not enough for a very anxious cat. I also recommend combining supplements with a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) or a Comfort Zone Diffuser ( https://www.comfortzone.com/ ) in your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. You could also consider calming music specifically for cats ( http://throughadogsear.com/tace/through-a-ca

I use Yesteday News which is pelleted litter made from recycled newspaper. They also have pelleted pine litter. The pellets are bigger and don’t track out of the litter box, and don’t stick to their feet. I use just a small amount and clean it daily. I also have a robot vacuum and it vacuums daily on a schedule so the house is clean without me having to do it. The vacuum was one of my favorite purchases ever! Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for your cat.
