Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

Unfortunately an ingredient list can be misleading, and I recommend sticking to foods that follow WSAVA nutrition guidelines. Hi there! Harley is absoultely adorable! In my opinion, any of the premium brands (Hill’s, Purina, Royal Canin) are great! They are all devloped with veterinary research and focus on providing the most balanced and nutritious diet for pets. Thus, really eliminating the need for a “vitamin” supplement like we take. With that said there are supplements that you can add to Harley’s diet, such as those for joints and coat. Harley’s vet will be the best person to give you dosage and product recommendations (we’re a little limited online, since I have not examined Harley before). I feed my Rhodesian Ridgeback the Purina Pro-Plan Salmon diet, but it really boils down to what Harley likes and what aggrees with her. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You have probably noticed the very large variety of diets available in the market. I personally prefer the Purina Pro Plan and Hill's diets as they are palatable and also good in terms of ingredients. Both of these companies have their own puppy diets. There is currently no strong scientific evidence that grains are harmful and should be avoided so I do not really pay attention to that. Good luck!

Hello, and thank you for rescuing the puppy. You can feed any national puppy food & do very well with it. My favorites are Hills Science Diet, Royal Canin & even Purina. They are all excellent without being gimmicky. Have her seen by your vet soon for parasite protection & vaccinations & she should grow healthy & well. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
