SI am sorry to hear about your concern for Sadie. Some cats are very sensitive to change and it can cause anxiety which then leads to inappropriate urination. This is possibly what is happening with Sadie. You can try a calming pheremone product called Feliway, either sprayed on the bed or in a diffuser https://www.feliway.com/us and a calming supplement like Zylkene or Composure (available online) to see if this helps her.

Hi, in terms of cat furniture don’t worry cats don’t need anything particularly fancy. They enjoy sitting on a shelf as in the picture and look outside the window. You would add some cardboard boxes that can also work as cratching posts and a couple of pillow on the bookshelf. I think the feeding area would better be moved, because being right in front of the windows is exposed, they can see/be seen and could spot something that might upset them. It is also advisable to keep feeding areas away from their litter tray and perhaps moving it would help increasing this distance. Are there only two cats in the room ? If so also consider the number of litter trays. I mo not sure how many you have at present, and if things work out well I probably would suggest not to change them. You can find lots of ideas in building/creating cat furniture from ikea furniture if you fancy a change in the future. Hello. Cats are definitely unique animals, & sometimes pretty frustrating to figure out. Just know that your Timone is really not too unusual. Cats definitely like high perches so your counters are perfect for this. And sleeping on hard surfaces when a comfy pillow is available is also the norm. My own cats will sleep on the hardwood or tile floors, even in the winter when they are cool. So, it sounds like you have a perfectly normal cat. Happy New Year!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend that you try a product called Feliway which can help cats deal with any stress inducing situations like the one you describe. You can buy this as a spray for example at your local pet store or online. If she does not improve, the other thing that should be considered is if there is a medical reason for all of this which is certainly possible. If her behavior does not improve, have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. She is adorable! Good luck!
