Hi, thank you for your post. It's great that you are attempting to find the owner and good that there is some identification. Tattoo's are usually given to feral cats when they are trapped, neutered/spayed and released. It's best to call your local municipal animal shelter and enquire about this. Sorry, but there is no way for us to find an owner. Good luck and hope you get it sorted soon.

Hello, This green ink looks like the kind often used in a tattoo. Tattoos are commonly given to pets when they are spayed or neutered, so if that no one attempts to re-do the procedure. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Human products are made for a different pH than what a dogs normal skin should be so long term use may cause problems. They do make different products for pets, such as conditioners, gels, and even dye base on what your need is. Any local petstore has all the supplies. If you can post again for the specific use you are seeking, we can find a product right for you

You can take the strand of hair on which the sticker is stuck and hold it with your fingers and then take the other hand and remove the sticker. You can also take a bit of rubbing alcohol and soak the sticker with it. It should then come off easily. If it does not come off, you may have to cut the hair close to the sticker to get it off.

No, this is not a service that Petco generally provides. Most veterinary clinics do not offer this service either. I would call around to veterinary clinics in your area to find out for sure. You can also contact the Humane Society, as they are the ones that typically do this for animals. You can have a microchip administered and have all of this information embedded into the microchip for identification as well. This service is provided at most veterinary hospitals and Vetco clinics to provide this service as well. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
