Digyton is a herbomineral formulation that works to stimulate the appetite and reduce attacks of common gastrointestinal complaints. Digyton PLUS stimulates the secretion of enzymes in the stomach, which aids the digestion of food. It also possesses antibacterial, anti-spasmodic and bowel regulating properties that help in controlling gastric infections associated with stomach disorders in adult dogs. An adult dog is a dog who is at least 12 months of age.

I certainly sympathize with your situation. Since Digby is 7 years old and this is a new behavior, I would start by having your veterinarian examine Digby to make sure there isn't a medical condition that is contributing to the change in his behavior. Your veterinarian may recommend trying medication depending on Digby's situation and behavior. If everything is normal on examination, ask your veterinarian for a recommendation for a behaviorist or trainer. You will need to commit to a training regimen to change Digby's behavior when he sees another dog. This can be a long process, but will be worth it. Good luck! Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Often pets start digging behaviors when they are bored. Making sure pilot gets a lot of exercise and mental stimulation will help a lot. Puppy training classes are great! You can also try other mental tasks at home like treat puzzles (you can purchase from your local pet store). Blocking access to the dirt and carpeted area unless supervised will help prevent home damage in the meantime. I love Pilot's name!!

The first best thing you cn do with a territorial dog is invest in obedience training. This will allow you to have greater control over her when she displays her aggressions to those she feels are 'trespassing'. Additionally, makes sure she gets plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Take her for long walks, runs, play ball or fetch, take her with you wherever you can, rides in the car, anything and everything to tired her body and mind. A tired dog is a happy dog. Highly intelligent dogs are often the most anxious and therefore need a 'job'. She seems to have chosen guarding her yard as her job, you need to convince her to choose somethign else as her primary function. Never punish her for being protective as this may escalate the aggression. Try teaching her tricks or tasks, get her a Kong toy to keep herself entertained, even consider a slow feeder or a puzzle feeder to make her work and think about how to get food and treats and therefore keep her mind occupied with matters o

I am concerned that she is developing a negative association with the daycare and other dogs. She may be getting overly tired, developing some protective aggression, or even some fear based aggression. I would recommend giving her a break from the facility with slow return with loads of positive reinforcement. In more severe cases you could also try some Trazodone. It is not a sedative, rather increases the amount of Serotonin in the brain. This results in a more content and happy pup. You could use this as a training tool while you are re-integrating her, and then wean her off as she has successful days.
