I don't know much about how they spay dogs in China, but I can't say I have ever heard of a dog requiring a four day hospital stay after this procedure. Here in the USA, most dogs will either go home the same day or the day after the procedure. Although a spay is an intra-abdominal procedure were an organ is removed, they tend to wake up well and not particularly painful. Unless they are using some method in China that is far more involved, I would think that the same day method is more in line with realistic.

You cannot give the cat that medication. Most vets office can trim nails with out doing anything and may have a carrier for you. Depending on your area, there may be a mobile vet or groomer than can come to you to do this for you. I would start with contacting a vet's office or local groomer and they can assist you or provide you with someone in town that can if needed.

He needs to be seen right away. I would find the closest ER veterinary clinic so that he can get pain control and xrays. It can't wait until Monday. There are no safe over the counter or humans pain medications for pets. Good luck.

You should purchase a cat carrier to safely travel with Mennu. I have a link to a few examples below. It would be best to get Mennu as familiar with the carrier as possible prior to travel to help reduce stress - leave the carrier out so she can explore it. You may even want to try feeding her in the carrier. Take her for a short trip once before leaving. A pheromone spray like Feliway could help reduce stress. Good luck! https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/cat/cat-containment/cat-carriers-crates-and-kennels/cat-plastic-crates

Yes, I do have advice for doing this! Introducing them should be done slowly. I would keep them in rooms separated by a door. This way, they can get used to the smells and sounds of each other without contact. Make sure your cat has a litter box, food, and water in their room. You can also place a blanket with the dog's smell in the cat's room, and a blanket with the cat's smell in the dog's room. I would also consider get a Feliway for your cat and a DAP for your dog. These are pheromone diffusers that help with anxiety and should also help ease the transition. Once both pets seem relaxed with the current situation, swap rooms placing the cat in the dog's room and vice versa. You can do this switch several times over the course of the introductions. Once they are both comfortable with the smells of each other, it's time for them to meet face to face. I would introduce the dog on a leash to the cat while he is in a cat carrier or on the other side of a baby gate. Reward the
