I am sorry to hear about Karma! I would recommend getting a Feliway multicat diffuser which your can order online but you can also find in some pet stores or vet clinics. It produces a pheremone that can be calming and can help decrease intercat aggression https://www.feliway.com/us/Products/FELIWAY-MultiCat-Diffusery . A calming supplement such as Zylkene or Composure may also be helpful.

You must make sure Kitkat is protected from any harm either from your dog or from the other cats. Here is a link which may help: https://www.petcoach.co/article/bringing-home-a-new-cat-or-kitten/ If your dog is not trustworthy around Kitkat, it is safest not to leave it in your room since Kitkat cannot escape. The dog may need to stay somewhere else in the house or with a friend until Kitkat is safe and situated in the house. I hope this helps.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! First of all, thanks for what you are doing, that is very nice of you. I think it would be best if they are introduced slowly to the puppy meaning for short amounts of time to be increased daily until they are getting along well consistently. They should be supervised at the beginning when interacting with your cats or puppy. I think it would be a good idea to have toys and beds for both to make them feel more at home. Good luck!

Look for low to medium energy dogs that don't have high prey drive. Many rescue dogs have been in foster homes with cats or have been cat tested and you may look specifically for one of these. A puppy is also an option since it will grow up with Jackie but puppies tend to chew on and chase cats which most cats dislike. Older dogs who have been around cats with good manners are generally more acceptable to a cat. Jackie will likely be afraid of any dog at first and you should not be discouraged if there is hissing and hiding. Make sure to keep the dog on a leash and to closely supervise all interactions until you are sure the two are safe together. It may take a few weeks before things quite down. Jackie will feel more secure if she has a tall cat tree or shelves that she can climb and observe the new dog. This is instinctual and can help her to feel more safe. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would set all her belongings in to the room you are staying in. Give her a day to adjust to that room. Then open the door and allow her to come out of the room if she wants. If she is a shy cat she may never leave the room if you are only there for a few days. I would hope that after 1-2 days she will venture out. By keeping all her things in one room she will know that is her safe place to run back to if scared. Cats are hard and it depends on her overall personality.I would just be patient and don't force her to do more than she wants. I wish you the best of luck!
