Our old harness is broken. I was wondering if you have any product recommendations or at least any ideas for a new harness? I've found some cute and comfortable one in a store in Germany but I don't know when I will be visiting Germany again.
How lucky of you to visit Germany recently! I would check to see if it's possible to ship the ones you like from Germany to Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm not very familiar with the inventory of dog harnesses in your country, and given that many things can easily be shipped, it might be the best idea to have the cute and comfortable ones you say in Germany shipped to your home :-)

For days where it is very hot, you do want to avoid taking your dog for a walk at the hottest parts of the day (mid-day) especially on paved areas as your dog's feet can get burned. They do sell dog booties that you can put on your dog's feet to help protect them. There are many different companies that make these, one example is https://www.amazon.com/HiPaw-Breathable-Dual-Boots-Protector/dp/B01HS2M7FI/ref=sr_1_7?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1496836452&sr=1-7&keywords=dog+boots. If she has no skin/coat issues, just a gentle oatmeal shampoo is fine for bathing when needed. Most dogs do not need frequent bathing unless they are getting very dirty and bathing too often can dry their skin out. I wouldn't bathe more than every other week unless needed. Poor Hunter! It sounds like you've gone through a lot, and that fear may have manifested into new issues like you're seeing. I'd work on getting the part of the truck you want him to ride in to be "fun" again. Generally, this is done in steps with positive reinforcement. If Hunter has a favorite toy and treat, these are also helpful. You want to make the treat something special and not often given, such as pieces of hot dog, or lunch meat, and ONLY use them when training the association that truck = fun. You can start by just playing with him with his toy and giving treats nearby the truck for a few minutes at a time. From there, you can start trying to coax him to the truck by placing high value treats at the edge of where you want him to hop in, praising when he goes and eats them. You can then move the treats further back into the truck while asking him to hop in and get them, again, praising each time. From there you can move on to hooking him into any safety harnesses, and then

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. I would recommend using corrective collars like a pinch collar or gentle leader. These can help stop the pulling behavior. You may also look into the low voltage shock collars. These collars emit a small shock that is similar to being snapped by a rubber band. You can use this to correct the behavior and these collars can all be found online or at your local pet store. I hope this helps!
