My favorite brands of food are Acana, Origen, Lotus and Hobest Kitchen. You can see if they are available in your area. Some of the freeze dried raw diets such as honest kitchen are very palatable to picky eaters. I also find that adding fish oil and warm water to dry kibble can be very appetizing. It is also a very healthy supplement for them.

I would recommend trying to order a food off online. There are a lot of companies that will ship you dog food. Even if you cannot find his original brand you can another dry food he might like better than the store brand from the store near by. You can try to buy some canned food too. This might encourage him to eat his new food better. If you absolutely have to you can add a little boiled chicken to motivate him to eat his new food

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern! Judging from the pictures and your description, I suspect that D'Kota may have a skin infection or skin allergy. I would recommend the following products, which can all be found online quite easily: 1. Welactin omega 3 fish oil 2. Douxo PS Chlorhexidine combination shampoo and bathe twice weekly until resolved. 3. Malacetic conditioning spray and apply twice daily to affected areas until resolved 4. Essential 6 spot on by Dermoscent If there is no improvement or the infection worsens, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

As far as dog food goes, I tend to recommend Hill's Science Diet or the higher end Purina products. If you are looking to go a more natural route you would want to try something like Earthborn or Acana. Periodontal disease can be delayed with regular teeth brushing if Ratchett will allow it. You should be able to purchase most of what I mentioned at one of those stores. Hope this makes sense.

Thank you for using Boop by Petco! Some dogs feel uncomfortable while being picked up, and you may want to try to be gentle while drying/brushing her. I typically recommend waiting until most dogs are fully dry before brushing. It is important to establish good behavior around people while Muffin is a puppy. You can do this by giving her treats when she is "good" or in situations where she may be somewhat uncomfortable in - for example, while you are picking her up, brushing her, etc. If Muffin starts barking, growling or nipping at a time when she shouldn't, I recommend ignoring her rather than punishing her. I would also be happy to answer any more questions you may have about training Muffin!
