I would expect that something like this would most likely pass through Gg’s gastrointestinal tract without a problem, however plastic can get stuck at any point. If you notice vomiting, diarrhea or a decreased appetite I’d recommend contacting your vet right away.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! If the piece was small he will likely pass it. Watch for vomiting, lethargy and not wanting to eat. check his stools with gloves for the piece of bag so you know when to not worry. If he gets sick then he should be seen by a Vet. Good luck

HI, thanks for using Boop by Petco! The chips themselves won't hurt her. It would depends on how big the pieces of the bag were that she could have swallowed. If you can barely tell if pieces of the bag are missing then I am sure she will be fine. Watch for vomit, lethargy, not eating and belly pain as signs of a blockage. I wish Zoey the best!

Sorry we weren't able to get to your question sooner. If Princess is still not feeling well, that is concerning. My biggest worry would be the possibility of an intestinal obstruction if there was a piece of the bag in there that did not pass through. If thats the case, you're going to have to see a vet--can't fix that at home. It is possible, though, that the bag just caused a pretty significant gastroenteritis (inflammation of the GI tract). Call your vet and ask about giving famotidine. This is an acid reducer that may help if she's still vomiting. See here for dosing info: https://www.veterinaryplace.com/famotidine-for-dogs-dosage-chart/ Offer a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice, in small (1-2 tablespoons) frequent meals for a day, then gradually increase the amount and decrease the frequency over 2 days.
