I didn't the my Grey liked this food that much because he seemed to waste a lot of it. But when I took it away he freaked out. Happy that Petco had it in stock with fast shipping.

My parrot loves his new healthy food!

My geriatric Amazon parrot loves this food. It is basically like Lucky Charms cereal for birds. He doesn't like just one kind of pellet in there that he leaves at the bottom of his dish and begs for a refill. He used to eat junk food before I adopted him, so over time, we got him onto this healthier mix and he has lost much of his obese body weight. I've tried several different options but this one, her really is thriving on! This was important for his heart health. It is so easy to have a mix ready to serve him that he has fun with and seems healthy too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Total garbage bag had been opened before shipping

Bag was opened before shipping food was all over the bottom of the box. Threw it all in the garbage. I won't take the chance of feeding opened food to my pet. I will never order from petco again online. Waste of money no quality control.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good but could be better

Good mix of pellets. Great that their are No sunflower seeds. (They are too fattening for parrots). Wish they would decrease amount of seeds. In some package they are 1/3 of mix. Mix helps get birds off seed diet - but would like same pellet mix without seeds for birds once eating pellets.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My conures usually only eat Harrison’s, but that has been in short supply for a long while. They love the Zupreem, especially foraging through it for their favorite parts.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Are these seed or pellets or both

  1. It's a little of both, my parrots love it.

How long would this bag last for a medium sized bird?(amazon parrot) I'm taking over care for my grandmother's bird and trying to figure out my budgeting and need to get him off the unhealthy generic bird food she has him on.

  1. I have 2 quacker parrots and the bag lasts at least 3 1/2 months for them.

I have always used Foster and Smiths Parrot seed - however, I want to switch to another brand - I also feel Kaytee Fiesta. Thinking about switching to ZuPreem Smart Select- is this a good replacement?

  1. Yes.  My baby only gets zupreem pure fun and sunburst safflower gold. He is in perfect health and he's been on them since 3 months.  He's 6 years old now.

Is this product good for our Umbrella Cockatoo or should we stick with the Macaw bag?

  1. I feed my Moluccan Cockatoo, African Grey, and Conure this food. However, you'll also want to feed them fresh fruits and vegetables.
