Questions
Are the pellets two sizes? My cockatoo has been eating this for years. I always purchased it locally but cannot seem to find ZuPreem on line showing small and larger pieces. Please help if you can. Thanks.
- Our Natural product line is available in 4 pellet sizes. You can go to our website at www.zupreem.com and on the Natural page under products it shows the different sizes. Most likely your Too will need the Large Bird size, unless he's a goffin and then the parrot and conure size. Petco stores carry our Natural products and you can also find it at www.petco.com.

Is this good for my african grey?
- I had a African Grey rescue. Mostly seed diet. Over a few days I slowly removed seeds so there was more pellets than seeds. It took a relatively short time as she seemed to not mind the switch. Of course they will eat the seed first but once you get down to a couple seeds then remove entirely. Very smooth transition. My cockatoo was young so it went faster but I have found he needed his pellets to be moistened with very warm water or he protests and pushes all the pellets out of the bowl and won't eat.

I have a 22 year old Timneh African Grey parrot. I have used Harrison's pellets medium size in the past. It has been discontinued. My parrot won't eat the fine size and drops the large size into water. I need suggestions of what else to use.
We're wondering if there's anything we can do to improve her diet. Right now she is eating pellets (Zupreem, converting to Zupreem naturals), seeds, and we offer veggies every day despite her never really finishing them. We're now grinding up a Tums onto the food every day, as she was egg bound recently. We get 30-60 mins of time outside a day when possible, for sunlight. Any suggestions, or does this look fine? I am looking for the best pellets for my canaries. Last year they were on a seed diet, but I slowly switched them over to Zumpreem Fruit Blend. However, I've read that the Fruit Blend has a lot of artificial coloring and sugars. I'm having trouble finding information for what the best pellets are. Please help!

Last Saturday added a male plucked Eclectus Parrot to our adult senior home. Vet exam scheduled for July 30th. He's bonded immediately, eating apples, grapes, Dr Foster/Smith mixed seeds but bobs- coughs up whole seed, apple, etc. His droppings are frequent as white cream mixed with green stool. Eclectus pellets, Eclectus mix seeds due by Wed- Friday. Will he die throwing up whole seeds, fresh fruit, eggs, noodles, etc if making small firm poop ?
I have a 4 month old Black capped conure. I noticed this morning when I first took him out of his cage he had more watery stool then usual. Colors looked normal. It’s a dark green color with white.
