Questions
I need something that is soft enough and chewy. Not crumbly. THis is so I can put a small pill inside. One of the reviewers mentioned that the formula had changed over the year and now it is a crumbly chew. Can someone confirm what the consistency is?
- It would have to be a very small pill and I think the treat would crumble on you. It’s still chewy, but definitely starts to crumble if you were to press on it to try to wrap it around a pill. I’d look for something else.

I have a seven-year-old Maltese who now only has six teeth, no back ones. She loves treats but cannot chew the ones I have tried. Do you have any that will crunch and break easily so as not to choke her?

- I don’t really have an answer to that question as my golden retriever drinks a lot of water anyway but she always drinks after she has peanut butter period so it may help if u r trying to get the dog to drink more wayer

How many pieces per bag?
- These are small kibbles, about the size of a jujube, if you're old enough to remember those candies. Maybe the size of a pencil eraser. According to the package, each one is 2.2 calories, for a total of 3134 calories per kilogram. This bag is only 1 lb, so that's a little less than 1/2 kilo. That figures out to about 650 pieces per bag. I give my small (10 lb) dog about 6-8 a day and this bag lasts us 3-4 months. And she dances for them!
