These bulbs are nice and bright. The biggest positive will be if they last a couple of years and I won't know that for awhile.

Nice and bright for about a month and then it quit. Have read verious reviews elsewhere saying they had thw same problem.

I have 2 of these (1ultra sun/1reef sun) in my 10 gal SW quarantine tank, and I am very pleased with the lighting these bulbs give off. In addition to looking nice, they have also been effective in promoting coralline and zooanthid growth on my live rocks in a relatively short amount of time. For the price you can't beat them. Perfect for a small tank.

This light is SUPERB! It is super bright & it reaaaly brings out my fish's color ! my plants are doing fantastic and i'm loving it !

These bulbs are great. I put them in my favorite hood that is for incandescent lighing and they fit in perfectly. Light up the aquarium wonderfully and the fish look super.

If you have a incandescent light fixture and are thinking you have to go out and buy a 30 dollar hood with a 15 dollar bulb you are wrong, this bulb is amazing it took my boring tank and transformed it into a beautiful thriving aquarium. My plants are loving it my fish seem healthier and it creates a beautiful shimmer of water on the entire room!!! So beautiful has a soft sort of bluish white I highly recommend this to any one looking to up the any in their tank!!!
