My name is Kyleigh and i raise praying mantises. I'm used to dealing with Chinese but I have 2 Devil's Flower mantises on the way that are found in Africa and need to be kept around 100 degrees. What light would be best for this?
- The light that you use will depend on the size of the enclosure and the temperature in the room that you are keeping the mantises in. The 60 watt Daylight blue bulb that comes in this could could be enough heat on a smaller enclosure to get it up to 100 degrees F. I would make sure you have a good thermometer in the enclosure and check to see what the temperature is with the bulb. If the enclosure is not warm enough with the 60 watt bulb you can try bumping up the wattage.

Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
What is the best way to heat hedgehog cage with lamp?
I am about to get a crested gecko and have done lots of research, but am nervous I'll kill my crestie. You see, lots of people have different opinions about additional lighting. 1 breeder said a heat lamp killed many of his crested geckos, while another breeder said it killed her geckos when they DIDNT have a heat lamp. Should I get a heat lamp? (My tank is a 12 by 12 by 18, of that helps at all) Also, should that size tank be good for 1 crested gecko for his entire life?
i have a adult and baby bearded dragon i. seperate tanks one tank is probably like a 40g and the other one is pretty big not sure of gallon size. what uvb light is best for them. and could it wait a couple weeks until i get paid or is it crucial today

Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)

SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
Whay can i do about my hachling iguana over heating
My veiled chameleon stopped eating, is getting very lethargic. Is approx 1 yr old. Feed her crickets with sprinkled vitamins and wax worms since I've had her. Keep a daylight on her and a red heat light at night. She's pretty cranky! Also have a small waterfall feature for humidity and drinking. Am I doing something wrong? She was more active before. Am doing what I was told by pet stores and pet shop employees.

My 2 year old pantheon chameleon started losing colour on his head about two weeks ago. This has now spread around his whole body so he is very dull grey and black for the last few weeks. He has a 4/5 ft high tank, with heat lamp and uv lamp, he has crickets daily and calcium and D3 too. He’s eating and drinking fine, he’s been in the sun and had vitamin supplements to try and help.
