I like the warm glow this gave my aquarium. The bright light really did a good job at bringing out the colors of my fish. However!... I had the same problem that a lot of other buyers had, in that the stupid thing hardly lasted. It went dark after just over 9 measly months. I think it's funny that imprinted on the bulb it says "replace yearly." I mean, I would--if it lasted that long! Quite disappointed.

Was damaged when it arrived. The metal on was side was dented and the prongs on the other side were bent.

This bulb is nice and bright. I had a Colormax bulb on my tank that was so dim I hardly knew it was on. If this thing lasts awhile I will be super happy with it! (I've only been using it for a week, so the jury is still out.)

This bulb is doing well maintaining some low light plants in my small 16 gal bowfront. Wouldn’t try to grow anything that requires much light, but it’s doing well

Very nice natural light spectrum. No yellow or blue hues noticed.

6500k works great for fw plants !! light output is also very high for standard output/t8..
