I bought 4 of these lights, which only 1 worked. You had better check each light bulb within the 30-60 days because PETCO doe not stand behind their merchandise! I am out $90.00 due to this. Pretty lame corporation, I will NEVER return to PETCO

The bulb cracked after a few months. Very fragile

I was out of the room when it went out, but as I was unscrewing the bulb the glass BROKE on 1 arm. I was not putting any irregular pressure on it. After completely unscrewing it, I noticed the other arm had a crack at the base as well (likely what caused the light to stop working.)

It was a replacement for one I broke that was due to be replaced.in the next 6 weeks or so anyway. Seems brighter. Nothing replaces sunlight but with it snowing April 15 it'll be awhile before he can get outside again.

Will this work with leopard geckos
- I will call the pet store and ask to speak to someone that has familiarity with geckos to maje sure or call a local exotic vet. The other option is to Google it

I have a baby painted turtle, is this enough uvb and uva output for them, And does it put out enough heat for them to live off of?
- I have a RES. Over his basking platform I have this lamp to provide UVB and I have a 50w ReptiTuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp for UVA and heat. Unless you live in the tropics your turtle will also need a heater for the water in the tank. As a new owner, I recommend you join RESTO Aquatic Turtle Owners Facebook group. The admins can help with any questions you may have.

- Yes u need a basking light as well daytime one a place For your turtles to come completely out the water to dry out their shell and absorb UV B and heat at the same time

- You can put this bulb in any type of lamp that uses a standard bulb tread type. However, It is longer than a standard bulb, so take that into consideration (about 6 1/2 inches).
