The rock gets pretty hot which is good if you have animal that loves the heat. But the heat gets to the point where my bearded dragon will not used it. I think this could be fixed if they would add an adjustable heat knob to fix this issue. So I had to get more creative with the using for a rock that burn my lizard buns.

no this would not be good for a leopard gecko it can overheat if i was you a undertank heater i have 7 leopard geckos they love undertank heaters
