Hello, my male, one year old leopard gecko has shown signs of an eye infection for about a month now. Two weeks ago, I did what was recommended, use sterile saline eye drops to flush out the eyes. They got worse, so I bought some actual reptile eye drops. I have been using them as directed for a little over a week, and his eyes have just gotten worse. I scheduled a vet appointment for 5 days from now, in hopes they can help my poor little guy. Is there anything I can do to help him further?
Our boy has just had surgery to secure the third eyelid over his eye to aid the healing of an eye ulcer. We have been told to continue putting Chloramphenicol ointment into the affected eye twice per day. It is difficult to get the ointment into his eye now - he is having trouble blinking and the paste just seems to sit on the eye. I have just asked my vet if it comes in a drop form as this would be easier to administer, but they have said no, I need to persevere with the ointment - any advice?

Eastern Box turtle 10+ years old, puffy eyes, white-clear discharge, not eating. I think its some kind of bacterial infection causing conjunctivitis. Can it be treated with antibiotics? I have tetracycline and amoxicillin. Try to get it to swallow? Should I make wash for the eyes?
I was just wondering what treatment I can do at home for my turtle . His eyes are swollen and cloudy. I just noticed it today when I changed and cleaned his tank
How can i fix my turtle's swollen eyes? I'm pretty sure it was from chlorine since i used tap water, but then i changed the water after about 6 or more hours when i noticed how my turtle itches his eyes and how his eyes became more swollen.
My RES turtle started to bask more and a few days ago he had swollen eyelids. I used an turtle eye rinse and it worked. Then today he started to bob his head and slightly open his mouth. what is wrong with him?
