Can I add this directly into my turtle’s aquarium water (can it still be absorbed into their body)? If not, if I dust their mealworms/shrimp and drop it in the dusted food in their water, does it all come off as soon as it hits the water?
How do you feed this to your cooter turtle?
- Dust the insects in the powder, and then feed them with tongs. You can also mix up a “jello” type thing that the crickets/ insects can eat before feeding so that the calcium is inside them. Look up “Snell-o” or “Shell-o” recipes online (people make it for snails and shrimps, but it ought to work for gutloading feeders).

can i use this for my pacman frog
Is this safe for green tree frogs along with a different vitamin or do you recommend a calcium without D3 and use a vitamin brand with it?
is this okay for chuckwallas?
Is this good for Green Anoles?
- Yes if you have a uvb light then you won't need to add this to your insects as often.

I have a garter snake at home, does he need phosphourus as well as calcium and D3? And how do put it on the food.
- As long as your snake is eating whole mice he doesn't need supplements, as he's getting calcium naturally from digesting the bones. The supplements come in powder form which just gets sprinkled onto the crickets and salad. Hope this helps, best of luck to both of you!

Would this be safe for adult fire belly toads.
- I'm not sure, they are in the same class? Reptile ? I would ask the veterinarian. I know it's great for my Rickie, he's a box turtle. It's a vitamin. Keeps him alert, active and awake. I forget to put on his food and he would just hibernate. Went to the doc, he just gave him a shot of vitamin D3. Sore I could not answer your question.
