This light is for heat only. When you have reptiles they always need a UVB light along with this. I would also suggest letting them in natural sunlight for a while during a hot, sunny day.

These fit into any lamp but due to the heat it give off it should only be used with a ceramic lamp that is specifically made for heat bulbs.
