Hello, good afternoon! I was curious as to how to keep a healthy, happy pleco? I just received a baby albino pleco, we got algae wafers, as well as the other algae that grows in the tank, I have a couple questions, how do I tell I’m feeding him enough, how can I let him stay happy and healthy, how do I give him a great, long life, how do I tell when he is sleeping, and how ca I tell when he is sick, I’m not to familiar with pleco sicknesses and diseases. My goldfish appears bloated
I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
