How should you care for your reptile during a power outage?
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
What is wrong? What do I do? It’s not soft it’s very hard and he has a heat lamp and uvb. Thx
What is the best way to heat hedgehog cage with lamp?
i have a adult and baby bearded dragon i. seperate tanks one tank is probably like a 40g and the other one is pretty big not sure of gallon size. what uvb light is best for them. and could it wait a couple weeks until i get paid or is it crucial today
I am about to get a crested gecko and have done lots of research, but am nervous I'll kill my crestie. You see, lots of people have different opinions about additional lighting. 1 breeder said a heat lamp killed many of his crested geckos, while another breeder said it killed her geckos when they DIDNT have a heat lamp. Should I get a heat lamp? (My tank is a 12 by 12 by 18, of that helps at all) Also, should that size tank be good for 1 crested gecko for his entire life?
Just wanting to know am I able to use a reptile heat lamp for newborn puppies??
hi, are snake has been acting rather odd reasently. we redid his tank (new substrate, cleaned the glass and bottom, disinfected the hides/ojects in it) we were putting the light back in but it blew so we could not get a light for atleast two weeks in that two weeks we noticed some odd behavier he kept trying to go for a stall, but he could'nt he kept doing it, so we asumed he was constipated So we got him a new bulb he's stil not eating or going for a stall though can you give advice thank you
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
Red eared slider has swollen eyes. This is been going on for over a week close to 2 I am using repti Turtle eye drops I'm not sure if I should use them once or twice a day. I would like to know why his eyes are swollen and what I should do about it
Hi, my hatchling red foot tortoise has a problem with keeping his eyes open for very long, he hasn't been eating as much as usual and when he closes his eyes I have to soak him in water to get him to open them back up. When his eyes close it almost looks like they are crusty. I have a cypress mulch and jungle mix substrate in his cage which is about 4 inches at the highest and 1 inch in his basking are but it's kept well watered. Thank You!
I have a red ear slider baby turtle and a light patch is on his foot is he ok
