The switch had to be adjusted for it to light up and to stay lit. It was an online order so I didn't get to check if it works properly. Will try to exchange it.

bulb broke first 72 hours of use first day ran it 24 hours second day worked and turned it off in the night turned the light back on in the 3rd day and it didn't work , the lamp dome working still, I had a spare bulb of another type, in the next few days before I could send it out, my roomate dropped the bulb, and then when looked see if could order another I see I have pay 5.99 shipping or spend up to 45 dollars to have shipping free. its not peco fault my roommate dropped the bulb after it was already broken, its Petco fault and the product for breaking in the first 3 days off use, I proubly used the bulb up to 36 hours first 36 hours then turned it off for 8 hours or 9 hours till woke. this product I thought I read bulb would run 24 hours on daylight and heat light but also work in night which did for the first day and about half before third day
