- No. The double dome lamp that I purchased did not come with bulbs. I purchased a daytime bulb for one side along with a night bulb for the other side and put each light on a different timer. Note: each dome has it's own electrical cord.

I have an anole (my son caught outside) we've fixed up a nice tank for him. He is super social and has become a pretty neat pet! I have a lamp for him but am given to understand we need a uvb lamp. Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. I am about to get a crested gecko and have done lots of research, but am nervous I'll kill my crestie. You see, lots of people have different opinions about additional lighting. 1 breeder said a heat lamp killed many of his crested geckos, while another breeder said it killed her geckos when they DIDNT have a heat lamp.
