Zoo Med guarantees the materials and workmanship of the Repti Therm UTH for a period of one year from date of purchase. If heater should fail during this time, simply mail heater and your purchase receipt back to Zoo Med for a replacement. Please include a note explaining failure. Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc., 3100 McMillan Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. No other guarantees apply, whether expressed or implied.
120 vac, 60 hZ, 16 watts. Instructions Peel adhesive paper off back of heater and "stick" to the underside of your terrarium. Zoo Med recommends you place heater on either the right or left side of terrarium and gently rub heater to make firm contact with the bottom glass. This allows one side of your terrarium to be warmer than the other, thus giving your animals a natural temperature variance. Helpful Hints Use Zoo Med's high-range reptile thermometer to monitor the temperature of your terrarium. Should your terrarium be in a particularly cold area you may need to add an additional Repti Therm UTH heater or Zoo Med's Repticare Rock Heater. Caution Do not use the Repti Therm UTH Heater on plastic or wood terrariums. Provide adequate ventilation below pad to prevent overheating. Product includes eight-page illustrated Instruction Book with complete instructions, cautions, and frequently asked questions.

Questions
Can this be used on bottom of glass aquarium for hamster?
- Yes, I used this for my hairless Guinea pig.

Would this also be okay for a plastic tub for dubia roaches? and a cricket pen for crickets? (I plan to get feeder insects soon) if so, should I put the heating pads under them? or on the sides of them? (Plastic Tub and cricket pen)
Would this be okay to use for my arboreal and vertical 10-gallon tank for a juvi crested gecko? or would I need a smaller heat mat? A friend of mine suggested me to use one since she doesn't get the warmth she needs based on my setup.
- I would highly recommend using the small size. The different sizes specify what tank size they are for. Typically you'll use the heat mat on one side of the aquarium with a basking light. That gives your little buddy the option to be warm on one side and cool down on the other.

How large is it? Would it work for my bearded dragon's tank, it's 30"x12"x18*
- It will work, but I recommend the LARGE sized model, which is what I use on the same sized tank you described in your question. I'm not familiar with bearded dragons. I use these under tank heaters for my ball pythons. Read the instructions/applications on the packaging to make sure they are safe for your animal.

Will this work for a Baby Red-Eared Slidder?
- I would not recommend this for a water turtle. The tank needs to be set up properly with the correct water and land areas plus the correct lighting. I would suggest a submersible heater made especially for water turtles. Petco sells these and they work great. Choose the wattage based on the size of the tank that your turtle is in. If the turtle is in a very small container, then I would recommend a ceramic heater that fits in a lamp like a bulb would. Last option would be a heat lamp, but you would need one for day and a different one for night so that the turtle can have a day night cycle. You will also need to be very careful to use the correct wattage so that the enclosure does not get too hot.

Can I use it for a 10 gallon tank or should I get a smaller one?
- You should get a smaller heater. This one would cover the entire bottom and, as cold blooded animals, reptiles need to be able to move to a cooler location. I believe the recommendation for leopard geckos is to have one third of the tank heated for a proper temperature gradient.

Would a medium work for a 29 gallon tank?
- yes

Does this pad cover half of a 10 gallon tank? If not which size does?
- It depends on which size if ten gallon tall or ten gallon long this does not fit my Leo’s it a ten gallon long and is 34inches

Can this be taken off and on repeatedly if you needed or wanted to move it or needed to clean tank? Will it leave residue if removed?
- You can move it if you need to. You don’t have to replace it. All you need is hvac foil tape to keep it in place. The tape is specifically designed to be used in high heat situations.

Can you use papertowels over this? I use papertowels for my leopard gecko, just wondering if it would be effected differently by what types of bedding we use.
- Yes you can and you can use paper towels as substrate for leap order geckos. The eco carpet stuck my geckos finger when I wasn’t home and ripped it off.
