I have hermit crabs and having difficulty finding saltwater that is already mixed to use in their 2nd bowl. Can this be used to mix into purified water? Thanks
- It doesn’t need to be purified water. Just mix it with regular tap water. It removes the dangerous stuff and makes it the correct salinity. I have used it for years and our crab is thriving!

How much saltwater can you make? How long would it last with two hermit crabs
- Months. Their saltwater bowl only needs a few drops. A bottle lasts me almost 6 months.

How much salt is included in all to fill a whole tank ?
- This is not for a fish tank, just salt water for filling a dish for a hermit crab to drink out of. Hope that helps. :)

I recently got some hermit crabs. The nearest pet store to me is an hour away so I made a visit to purchase supplies. But I didn't get as much substrate as I needed, unfortunately. But I believe my largest crab is molting, it's trying to dig underground but there's not yet enough substrate for him to really bury himself yet. I know you should not bother a molting crab, but if I buy more substrate should I put it in there with him or wait

bought three hermit crabs on June 28th. Two of them are very active and have even witnessed them changing shells a few times. However, the third one seems to be staying burrowed most of the time. I am concerned.
