Zoo Med's new Eco Earth Coconut Chips is a natural coconut coir substrate made from an eco-friendly, renewable resource. The material is highly absorbent (holds up to 8 times it's dry weight in water!) and retains that moisture well, releasing it slowly to create a humid, tropical environment perfect for a variety of different reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.

To use, simply soak the brick in a bucket of water for about 30 minutes. Break apart any remaining chunks and squeeze to remove excess water. Add the expanded product to the terrarium along, or mix with other substrates to create the perfect substrate blend for your needs. Spot clean substrate daily, and change completely every 3-6 months or as needed. Once the substrate has been expanded, the Coconut Chips can be left to dry for use in dryer habitats. Keepers control the moisture level by misting or adding water as necessary.

What is the best bedding for my rabbit

This question is for david elezbeth: Is 30-50% carbs an appropriate amount in dog food? I just started my dog on honest kitchen dehydrated dog food and these are the typical range in carbs. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
My mom got my Fluff guinea pig from the store. It has stuff I don’t know what it is. It has peanuts with the shell to. My sister told me they can’t have the internet said they can but not to many. It has something I can’t identify. It’s pebbles are so much bigger than his other food and there is sunflower seeds. I would rather be safe than sorry. Are Guinea pigs able to have this stuff. The food Leave some sort of food dust on my hands.
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
My dog isn’t doing hard poop it’s more like goey and green and I’m not sure what to do. he has the right food PetSmart has provided and still hasn’t helped him
How do i get my dragon to eat greens and things? She only eats moving things- worms and crickets. And i soak her in sink everyday because she doesnt know what the water bowl is and about egg binding inside her stomach.
My juvenile leopard geckos will try to eat its food but pukes it up shortly after. Bought him from pet smart 3 and a half weeks ago, they did not know the age or gender. But he was fine until this week. He's been throwing up past 4 days. Once before he shed, and the two days after. He wants to eat but ends up throwing up!? He's been losing weight.
Rabbit reduced appetite, urinating and pooing a little. 2 days ago was laying flat in cage like he had tummy ache, was very cold outside! Brought in and gave 3 syringes of critical care, a bit more alert have seen him eat a small bit of hay but no greens or pellets (that's I've seen!) Is still urinating and poking!
My tortoise have white things look like rice in his poop and i don't know if it's worms or what? Also there's not a vet in my city, so what should I do? He eats, sleeps well and walks a lot. He doesn't look tired but i'm worried about him.
So my bunny stopped eating pellets for a while and only ate vegetables and hay which I was excited about but then he got really skinny and I got worried. Now he’s only eating pellets and no longer vegetables or hay. I’m worried because hay is what their diet consists of but my bunny isn’t eating it anymore. He’s on unlimited pellets right now so he could gain weight. I give him veggies too but he just smells and walks away. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions on what I should instead?
My red eared slider is like 1 year and few months old. Her weight is 38 g. Firstly Is this an ideal weight for a turtle of this age? Secondly, how many grams of commercial pellets should I provide her? I want these two questions to be answered briefly. Give me the numerical values. Thank you
