Can this be used with the Zoo Med Moonlite Bulb for Reptiles, 60 Watt
My son got a leopard gecko and this lighting combo. Do these both get shut off at night? If so, what does the gecko need at night besides the heat mat?
- These are not considered adequate lighting for a leopard gecko or any reptile. A tube style UVB would be more beneficial for them. In the meantime, shutting them both off at night would be best. And making sure you have a good thermostat hooked up to your heat mat to prevent burns.

I have a question I got this in the bearded dragon kit which light is the night time light which one should be on at night
- Neither one is for night. You have to buy a separate heat emitter/infrared

- Yes, I use mine with Leopard Geckos and Beardies. For thr leo I use a uvb/Uva bulb on one side and a heat emitter on the other.

Is my set up ok for my beardie and I’m thinking of getting a background picture to add. I have a uvb light, a baskin lamp, a ceramic heat emmiter for night, a thermostat and two thermometers one on each side
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)

Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
Since full spectrum growl lights for plants are supposed to mimic natural sunlight (is that correct?) then can I use that for my green anole lizard glass cage and save all that cost for a uvb light? I also have a heating pad for my back I could put under it if need be...?

My red eared slider is not basking even though I brought a uvb light for her just like one of the pet coach vets told me because he has soft shell.I place the light on top of a Zilla screen cover but she still don't get on.I can't really dry dock her because I have a hood for my uvb light.How can I make her to bask and is the Zilla cover okay for her?

We have a Sulcata tortoise who is approx 6 mo old. His enclosure is kept at 85° ambient with a basking spot of around 100°, his humidity we try to keep at around 70-80% and he has a few humid places to hide. He has a UVB lamp. We feed him greens, kale, grass, and cucumbers and soak him 1-2 times per day. He has a calcium supplement that we sprinkle on his food a few times a wk. Recently his eyes have been sealed shut. He seems to be able to see somehow but we are very concerned. What can we do?
