Hi! Would this tank work for a baby sand snake? Thanks!
- Assuming you're talking about a sand boa of some sort, it's still best to have a sliding lid with latch with any snake. I have sand boas, an African and an Arabian, but mine are kept in the critter cage type terrarium with the sliding latch top because although they're not climbers it's always better to be safe than sorry. You can get a latch clip for this terrarium though. Also, despite being "sand boas" aspen is a better substrate for them to burrow in. Hope this helps!
