This is our usual brand to purchase. We have been using these since we got our reptile three years ago. Lately, the bulbs have been blowing out a lot quicker. Good thing Petco has a guarantee within 90 days of purchase.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Would these work well for a 2 foot ball python

    Is this full spectrum?

can I use this for a pacman frog??

Do these work for hermit crabs as well?

What's the diameter of the lamp these bulbs can fit in? I was looking at Fluker's Sun Dome Reptile Lamp which is 10 inches in diameter and wanted to know if these would fit.

          1. Yes they fit into a normal sized light socket.

Does this work for a 20 gallon?

          1. Yes I'm Pretty Sure It Would Work For A 20 Gallon Enclosure.

Will this also work as a basking lamp for a leopard gecko?

          1. Yes, I used this as a basking lamp for my leopard gecko.

Does this work for 40 gallon tanks for ball pythons?

          1. This could probably work in combination with the appropriate zoo med under tank heater. This bulb alone I don’t think would keep a ball python warm enough by itself.

How hot do the lights get

          1. Usually 80-90 F. If It’s To Cold It Would Be Probally Like 65-70 F.

Is this good for Hermit Crabs

          1. It would suffice.
