The store near us is sold out on the item but the petco.com sent me the order with free shipping! Thank you! The pebbles are very clean and they're the right size for my aquatic turtle. A great product with fair price!

I got them to balance the bacteria in the tank as well as improve the appearance when the turtle poops or leaves food crumbs. We can’t always get it out in time put the gravel kind of tucks it away until it’s time to clean the tank. I only gave it 4 stars because I got that specific type and size of rocks so I know my turtle won’t confuse it for food or anything. Most of the rocks are medium sized but there are quite a few tiny ones.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This would be my second time purchasing these pebbles for my turtle, and I haven’t had an issue yet! My turtle loves playing with them and he camouflages perfectly. However, I would say to pre-rinse the pebbles. Even though it advertises that they’re washed before hand it’ll still turn the water murky.

Yes, I recommend this product.

These are a great looking pebble. Bigger than aquarium rock, but small enough for filler rock in a paludarium

Yes, I recommend this product.

is this good for lotls

  1. It’s probably not the best. They open their mouths very wide and pebbles can get stuck. If you do use pebbles, they must be between 1.5 and 2 times the size of your axolotl’s head size. Most people use sand once their pet is at least 4 inches. The best for them is “Super Naturals" premium aquarium substrate by CaribSea
