Wish there are more in the store so I could have got more

I have not bought this item and I never will! How are hermit crabs supposed to drink from this? It's a sponge. The only way that they can drink it is by eating the sponge, which WILL kill them. These companies are just trying to make a profit. I have owned my two hermit crabs for almost a year now and did almost half a year of prep before getting them. I would recommend Crab Central Station on YouTube for professional advice on how to take care of hermit crabs. Please DO NOT buy any of these dangerous products!! ( ex: mineral blocks, pellets, calcium sand, painted shells, etc.)

This is a really good product! It definitely comes in handy!

When I first got hermit crabs, I was told they need sponges to drink water. Since then I’ve learned from great hermit crab owners who actually research and *don’t just try to profit from hermit crabs* on Facebook and YouTube (like CrabCentralStation, LCHOS). Hermit crabs need salt and freshwater pools they can FULLY submerge in (just like at a beach- their native environment) and sponges: they harbor bacteria, don’t last long, are unnatural, and a waste of money :)

The only reason I can give this hermit crab sponge a 5-star rating (since I’m obviously not a hermit crab!) is because Ravine always uses it. I have watched her at her freshwater bowl, where I have the sponge, NOT drinking directly from the water, but from the sponge itself. I had no idea a hermit crab needed non-chlorinated water (I buy the Imagitarium fresh water glug from Petco specifically for crabs) with a sponge in it, plus a separate salt water bath (again carried by Petco) but this crab has lived over 4 years now and is active and happy.

Hermit crabs need large water dishes one with salt water and one with fresh water deep enough to fully submerge in this is not it sis

These sponges are great for your Hermit Crabs. I have purchased and used these for years.
