Shake well before use. Add 10 ml to 16 oz. of lukewarm water. Soak reptile for 20 minutes to allow emollients to penetrate the skin. Old skin should slip off easily. If any old skin remains, gently rub to remove. For reptiles naturally found in high humidity environments, soak for 10 minutes, once a week. Do not attempt to pull dry skin off of reptiles. Never leave soaking reptiles unattended. Caution: keep out of the reach of children. Always wash hands after handling reptiles.

I have an iguana with either a bacteria or fungal infection I read if I put baking soda in water with iguana it helps soften skin and such so I can get the old shed off, is this true can baking soda in the bath water help? And how do you feel about free roaming for an ight? I have a small bedroom that would do perfect for an iggys to grow up in. Wondering if that would be Okay as long as everything is provided that it needs?
What is the best way to treat reptiles mites?
Before investing in vet care and car service, I bought from petco a natural repti shed soak solution last week to help my Beardie shed and in turn it’s discolored his skin into a dry yellow shade by his head and mouth (his gums are fine). I’m concern if this is stuck shed or fungal ?
Hi. Whats this and is it normal (yellowish bit on leg)? How can it be treated and where can I buy the treatment in Canada? His tank is cleaned weekly and is spot cleaned as soon as I see anything. He eats normally and is usually quite energetic. He also drinks water every day. His temps are in the suggested range as well. He's just finishing (finished) his shed is most areas. I also have been giving him baths 2 or 3 times a week with a little bit of betadine in it.
She shed this morning and she's eating Repashy as a main diet. 21°C and 65-85% (depending on time of the day) hydration. She "hugged" my finger with her tail and it felt as strong as usual. Last night I forgot to spray down her tank (45x45x60cm exo terra). She's eating as usual and moves around the tank as usual. Can I do anything to help her and identify the situation or should I take her to the vet?
my Savannah monitor lizards front hands seem to bug him there is also some stuck shed, what should i do?
Do I need to give my horsefield tortoise a bath? I had shell rot problems with him before and I don't know what to do when his shell is dirty. Do i just wipe it with a wet towel or a bath is needed? If so, how do I give him a bath. Water Temperature, water level, etc.
I’ve had my leopard gecko for 3 weeks now and he shedded for the first time. I’ve noticed his skin is pretty dry but he’s eating and pooping fine. He’s not used to me yet and is just getting used to crawling over my hand, so I can’t get it off myself yet. I don’t know what to do.
My red eared slider is not basking even though I brought a uvb light for her just like one of the pet coach vets told me because he has soft shell.I place the light on top of a Zilla screen cover but she still don't get on.I can't really dry dock her because I have a hood for my uvb light. How can I make her to bask and is the Zilla cover okay for her?
I have a red ear slider turtle that was given to my children as a gift. She looks to be an adult, but I cannot afford to get her the things need for her care such as the basking stand and filter for another 2 weeks. I have her in my bathroom tub, I also have a 40 gallon tank, but cleaning the water is becoming a problem with my asthma. I put her in direct sunlight during the day for about 3 hours to bask, but then she goes back in the tub. Her shell looks ashy, and I dont want her to die. Help!
My one year-old leopard gecko about a week ago shed and ripped too many layers of skin off her tail and it’s been bleeding and cracking she didn’t drop it off and giving her a bath putting mineral oil on it Neosporin and Vaseline she’s very restless and continuously licks her tail I have her on Eco earth and she still eats and poops and Drinks really good
So I took my beardie to the vet and she put him on 50mg of baytril orally for 14 days. The whole reason I brought him is because his toe was swollen and had a small cut on it as well as a little piece of his toe falling off in the bath. She said his husbandry is excellent. The swelling hasn't gone down still. He is on tile. Temps were good. He's in a 60 gal. Tube uvb 10.0. Bathed every 2 or 3 days. What to do?
